The mainstream media networks are unintentionally aiding Trump’s lack of a coherent strategy by continuously attempting to interpret and analyze his actions. What is happening is simply what is happening—there is no hidden genius or master plan at play. It’s time to put an end to this baseless and misguided “Art of the Deal” narrative that paints Trump as some strategic mastermind. Such interpretations are not only foolish but also misleading. Reporters and commentators need to stop comparing this administration to any other in modern history, as it operates on a fundamentally different and often chaotic level.
News show host often speaks as though the primary issue with Trump and Musk’s agenda is simply their methods, rather than acknowledging the deeper, systemic problems with the agenda itself. Lost amidst this disastrous tariff fiasco is the reality that the vast majority of what Trump and Musk are pursuing is, in fact, unlawful. Trump is not employing tariffs as some clever negotiating tactic or using them as strategic bargaining tools. There is no secret, well-thought-out plan unfolding here—what you see is truly what you get. The mainstream media’s constant explanations and interpretations of Trump’s actions only serve to mislead low-information voters into believing that Trump is some kind of brilliant businessman, when it’s blatantly clear that he is not.
Many media outlets frequently ask voters about the reasons behind their decisions, and for many, the answer is straightforward: their religious beliefs. Others point to urgent economic concerns, such as the rising costs of housing, groceries, and other necessities. Interestingly, some Trump supporters openly admit their motivation is to “own the libs,” driven by a desire to antagonize or frustrate their political opponents. Alarmingly, many voters seem to make choices that directly conflict with their own interests. This issue is compounded by the media’s tendency to mislead the public, prioritizing emotional narratives and promoting so-called “balanced” perspectives over a genuine commitment to truth.
Why should conservative viewpoints be given equal weight when they are often rooted in misinformation and distortions? A significant portion of the electorate views Donald Trump as a savvy and successful businessman, an image carefully crafted and reinforced by his portrayal on the reality TV show The Apprentice. For many MAGA supporters, the appeal isn’t about policies or principles—it’s about the entertainer, the performer, and the larger-than-life persona that Trump represents.
The time has come for the media to stop perpetuating this false narrative. By overanalyzing and justifying Trump’s actions, they inadvertently grant him a level of credibility that he does not deserve. This approach only fosters confusion and enables the spread of misinformation, creating a dangerous environment where voters are deceived into thinking there is a sophisticated strategy behind his erratic behavior. What’s happening is not a display of brilliance—it’s simply a reflection of poor leadership and reckless decision-making.
